Handlers must be 14 years of age or older to participate in our training classes. Any handlers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Basic Obedience

The Basic Obedience class is designed to establish a solid foundation of good manners and communication between you and your dog. We cover essential skills such as sit, stay, come, down, and loose-leash walking, while also teaching impulse control and attention. This class helps your dog develop the manners needed for everyday life, making them a polite and enjoyable companion both at home and out in the community.

We use a balanced training method with a strong focus on clear communication between handler and dog. This approach allows us to set fair, consistent expectations, tailor training to each individual dog, and empower owners with the skills and confidence to handle real-world situations.

Handlers must be 14 years of age or older to participate in our training classes. Any handlers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Terms & Conditions – Basic Obedience Training Class

1. Registration & Payment

• Full payment is due at the time of registration to reserve your spot.

• Payments are non-refundable unless the class is canceled by us.

2. Attendance & Scheduling

• Classes start and end on time. Please arrive a few minutes early.

• Missed classes cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

3. Dog Health & Safety

• All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella recommended).

• Dogs showing signs of illness (coughing, vomiting, diarrhea) should not attend class.

4. Handler Responsibility

• Handlers are responsible for their dog’s behavior and must keep their dog leashed at all times.

Children 14+ are welcome in the class but must be accompanied by an adult 18+ years of age.

5. Liability Waiver

• Participation in dog training is at your own risk.

• By enrolling, you agree that Triple Star Stables and its instructors are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to you, your dog, or your property.

6. Training Tools & Homework

• Approved collars, leashes, and treats are required. (No retractable leashes, please.)

• Success depends on practice outside of class — homework will be assigned to do at home.

7. Photography/Media (Optional)

• We may take photos or videos during class for training or promotional purposes. Please let us know if you prefer not to be included.
